A string quartet from the Houston Symphony came to Bethune on December 3 for two performances. This small ensemble of musicians played in the library in an informal setting to provide personal interaction with the students. This fall, Aldine Independent School District cafeterias will meet new federal nutrition standards for school meals. The new standards ensure that meals are healthy and well balanced and provide students all the nutrition they need to succeed at school.
