The Aldine Transition Expo 2018 will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 5-7:45 pm at the M.O. Campbell Educational Center (located at 1865 Aldine Bender Rd).
The Transition Expo will allow students with disabilities and their families to explore options for planning a good life beyond high school.
The event will feature agencies and organizations that serve students with disabilities, including Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services, Texas Workforce Commission Office of Vocation and Rehabilitative Services, Social Security Administration, Lone Star College, Easter Seals, METRO, and Texas Parent to Parent. Representatives from day activity centers and group homes will also be available to discuss options to meet family’s needs.
