The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program (AP) provides willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP Exams.
More than 30 MacArthur High School students have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams for the 2017-18 school year.
The AP Scholar Awards are a series of awards given by the College Board to students who have earned a score of 3 or above on at least three AP exams.
Many of the students were juniors and seniors who took the exam in spring 2018.
