The M.O. Campbell Educational Center will host a Family Engagement Expo on Saturday, July 28. The event is a partnership between Aldine ISD, U.S. Congressman Gene Green and BakerRipley.
The event will run from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Free immunizations will be provided for the first 100 attendees. Additionally, free health screenings will also be available.
A number of workshops are scheduled for the Expo. Workshops offered will be:
• Getting Connected with Aldine’s Digital Resources
• Healthy Eating and Physical Fitness
• Raising Readers
• Career & College Readiness
• Dollars & Sense
• Behavior Management
• Crisis Prevention
In addition to the workshops, a number of exhibitors will be on hand to provide information to the public. Scheduled to appear are the Houston Public Library and Harris County Public Library, Metro, BakerRipley, Smile Barn Dental, Lone Star College-North Harris, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and Workforce Solutions.
Door prizes and refreshments will also be available.
