Eighteen Aldine ISD student-athletes signed national letters of intent during National Signing Day ceremonies at their respective schools on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
Davis High School led the way with eight signings. The school had seven football players and one soccer player sign national letters of intent. The football players who signed were defensive lineman Dominic Livingston, who signed with LSU, defensive lineman Malik Abdullah, who signed with Texas A&T College, linebacker Patrick Parnell who signed with Texas A&T College, wide receiver Gus Charles who signed with Texas A&M Commerce, offensive lineman Steven Hubbard who signed with Kilgore College, offensive lineman Joshua McCulloch who signed with South Alabama, and running back Justin Wheatfall who signed with McMurray State University. Soccer forward Juanna Plata signed with Lamar University.
The four Eisenhower football players who signed national letters of intent were defensive back Jordan Bullard who signed with McNeese State University, offensive lineman Johnny Robinson who signed with Concordia University in Nebraska, kicker/punter Pashas Charalambos who signed with Blinn College and linebacker Trayveon Dixon who signed with Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma. Kayla Robinson signed a softball scholarship with Grambling State University and Derrick Vining signed a basketball scholarship with Wayland Baptist University.
Three MacArthur High School football players signed national letters of intent. Linebacker Jacoby Simpson signed with TCU, defensive back James Humber signed with McMurray State University and offensive lineman Benny Todd also signed with McMurray State University.
