After a two-week hiatus due to Hurricane Harvey, Aldine ISD’s five varsity football programs will return to action this weekend.
On Thursday Sept. 14, the MacArthur Generals will take on Baytown Sterling at 7 p.m. in Thorne Stadium.
On Friday, Sept. 15, the Davis Falcons will face Channelview at 7 p.m. in Thorne Stadium and the Nimitz Cougars will play at Mayde Creek at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, Sept. 16, the Eisenhower Eagles will take on Alief Elsik at 6 p.m. in Thorne Stadium and the Aldine Mustangs will play at Pasadena Memorial beginning at 6 p.m.
The following week, Eisenhower will host Klein Forest at Thorne Stadium beginning at 7 p.m., Aldine will play at Willowridge beginning at 7 p.m. and Nimitz will play at Morton Ranch beginning at 7:30 p.m. MacArthur and Davis have byes that weekend.
Other sports affected by Harvey have also re-started their season. Varsity volleyball resumed Sept. 8 and cross country and team tennis resumed Sept. 12.
