One of Aldine ISD’s campus teachers of the year who will be honored at the Teacher of the Year Breakfast on March 7, 2014.
When asked about her teaching philosophy, she responded:
It is my firm belief that children learn at different levels and in many diverse ways. A teacher’s role is to be of service to each child in a manner that leads to student success. A teacher must be as creative as necessary in order to accommodate the needs of all students. Along with this, a teacher must be demonstrative of genuine love through actions and deeds, while maximizing the academic and artistic potential of each and every child, thus creating well-rounded, productive citizens.
