One of Aldine ISD’s campus teachers of the year who will be honored at the Teacher of the Year Breakfast on March 7, 2014.
When asked about his teaching philosophy, he responded:
Learning is a beautiful process where failures and successes must be celebrated. The goal is to have students do something they never thought they were able to. As educators we have to take on facilitator, mentor, listener, believer, and so much more who lead students to a love of learning. It is impossible to stop caring and giving your all to these students. Thats the teacher in us. The best part of the day comes when you see that connection and the light bulb turns on. To know that Ive made an impact, even if its one student, thats one students life Ive changed.
