Aldine ISD’s Elementary Honor Choir provides an additional high-level choral experience for musically talented students in the district. The selection process includes three separate auditions where singers advance from one phase to the next. To be selected, each student must demonstrate his or her ability to sing independently and unaccompanied by a musical instrument the required selections with correct intonation, correct rhythm and in a head voice.

Of the 33 Odom Elementary students that auditioned nine advanced to the second round of auditions. Only the following seven students advanced to the third round:
