Odom Elementary School students learned about character and the champion in each one of them during The NED Show presentation held November 7. The program aspires to make a profound difference in every student, as well as create a strong impact on the culture of the entire school. The show teaches three critical skills that bring out the “Champion” in every kid by sharing the story of NED, whose name is also an acronym.
Never Give Up (focus & persistence)
Encourage Others (kindness & shared learning)
Do Your Best (diligence & excellence)
The NED Show spokesperson challenged the students to improve their academic achievement and behavior. The high energy, 45-minute motivational assembly features the character named NED and lots of active participation for kids. Presented through storytelling, humor, visuals and audience participation, The NED Show utilizes a multi-sensory learning model to motivate, encourage and inspire to become champions at school and in life.
